1. Acceptance
By creating an account or submitting an entry on https://techoscar.vercel.app, you agree to these Terms.
2. Account
You must be authorized to act on behalf of the company you submit for. You are responsible for the accuracy of submissions.
3. Entry fees
Entry fees are calculated server-side at the time of checkout based on the active pricing rule of the open season. Payments are processed by Stripe. Entries become "paid" only after the verified Stripe webhook is received.
4. Refunds
Entry fees are non-refundable once your submission status moves to under-review or later. Platform errors (e.g. duplicate charges) are corrected on request.
5. No guarantee
Payment of an entry fee covers review and consideration. It does not guarantee finalist, winner, or any specific award level. Awards are decided independently by the jury.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to your work. By submitting, you grant ProductCrown Awards the right to publish company name, project name, summary, screenshots, logo, and website link on finalist and winner pages.
7. Use of badges and brand marks
Finalists and winners may use the ProductCrown finalist/winner badge in good-faith marketing. Misrepresentation is prohibited. Brand asset guidelines are provided to recipients.
8. Disqualification
Submissions may be disqualified for false claims, IP violations, plagiarism, or breaches of these terms. Entry fees for disqualified submissions are not refunded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProductCrown Awards is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ProductCrown Awards is registered. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its competent courts.
