Rules & eligibility.

The terms governing entries to ProductCrown awards.

Eligibility

Any company, team, or individual building or operating technology products, services, or campaigns. Both shipping products and recently launched work are eligible. Each category page lists category-specific eligibility.

Seasonal model

ProductCrown runs four seasonal awards per year — Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Each category is assigned to one season. You can only submit to categories belonging to the currently open season. Additional categories on a single submission must also be in the same active season.

Submission requirements

Submissions must include a clear description, primary category, supporting links (website, demo, video, case study, or screenshots), and a verified company profile.

Judging criteria

Each category publishes its own judging notes. Generally: impact, originality, execution quality, customer evidence, and craft. The jury applies the published criteria independently.

Payment terms

Entry fees are charged at submission via Stripe Checkout. Prices are calculated server-side based on the season's active pricing rule. Entry fees are non-refundable once review begins.

Refund policy

Entry fees are non-refundable except in cases of platform error (duplicate charge, etc.). In such cases, contact ratomir@ratomir.com.

Disqualification

Submissions can be disqualified for: false or misleading claims, plagiarized work, intellectual property violations, prior public commitments to other awards programs for the same work, or violation of these rules.

Use of logos and badges

Winners and finalists may use the ProductCrown finalist/winner badge in marketing materials in good faith. Misrepresentation (e.g. claiming a level not awarded) is prohibited. Detailed brand asset guidelines are provided to recipients.

Publication rights

By submitting, you grant ProductCrown the right to publish the submission's company name, project name, summary, screenshots/logo, and website link on public finalist and winner pages. Confidential notes marked as such will not be published.

Confidentiality

Information marked as confidential will be used only for jury review and will not be published. Confidential information is not shared outside the jury.
